Goals

The Downtown Mural Project is a collaboration of local, contemporary artists whose goal is to adopt a public space that has been scarred by graffiti and revitalize the location by creating a mural that represents each artist’s style within a unified composition.

We Strive To:

• Revitalize damaged and unsightly buildings, walls, and walkways in downtown areas.

• Create public art that local residents can enjoy and attract visitors to experience large scale murals first hand.

• Build a local community of artists that appreciate the beauty of public art and work together to create collaborative mural projects.

Our Current Project

Wall along Church Street

Downtown Maryville, TN

Site Located between East Harper St. and Sevierville Road

The City of Maryville approved us to paint a collaborative mural on the support wall along Church Street. All the artists will begin painting on the weekend of June 26th and work through Sunday to complete the project. We have received a tremendous amount of positive response from the local community and look forward to creating a piece of art for everyone to enjoy. Also, we would like to thank The DailyTimes, and Channel 6 News who have featured this project in various articles and news spots.
